The mission of the Centennial High School Salvation Army Club is to bring aid to the
local community as a team. The club focuses on services, both direct and indirect, that can be provided in our community. Whether it be through volunteering at a local food pantry or a local soup kitchen, collecting canned food for the less privileged, or raising money to donate to local charities, the club aims to “do the most good.”
A future club event to look out for is the 5 for 5 Canned Food Drive from October 9 to October 13. Students who donate five cans to the collection will receive $5 off their homecoming ticket price. The club’s first meeting of the year will take place on Wednesday, September 20, after school in the media center.
