Juniors Beat Seniors in the Powderpuff Game

After a long and boring, yet chaotic day working hard on PSATs and correcting college essays for the longevity of the morning, there was something exciting for the juniors and seniors to look forward to at the end of the day.  Starting at 6pm Wednesday night, the junior and senior girls were placed head to head in the ultimate battle to compete for the reign of Powderpuff champions.  As the game begun, both teams were getting acclimated to the wet turf and slippery ball because of the damp, drizzling weather.  After this adaption, the juniors took the lead quick, keeping the game at a quick pace, while the seniors were struggling to keep up.  The score was 13 to 6 in the juniors favor at the end of the first half.

The second half was starting out with both teams hungry for victory.  Many intercepted and uncaught balls later, the score was now 19 for the juniors and 18 for the seniors.  It was a devastating loss for the seniors as they were only 1 point away.  For the first time in a long time, the juniors reign over the seniors, becoming the 2017 Centennial Powderpuff Champions.
