Disney Plus is a movie platform just like Netflix, Hulu, or HBO that was published on November 19, 2019. The main purpose of Disney Plus is for people to watch exclusively Disney content, including everything from Marvel to Star Wars to classics like The Empire Strikes Back.
Recently, Disney has released some newer content, such as the live-action adaptation of Mulan. After its release, Mulan became one of the Top 10 movies viewed on Disney Plus, with a total of 1.12 million views. A lot of people have commented on it, saying that the live action rendition wasn’t as good as the cartoon version because the plot of the story was different. Personally, I didn’t think it was a good movie because, in my opinion, all original Disney movies should stay animated.
Disney Plus also includes PG-13 movies like “Clouds,” a musical movie drama. It has garnered high views for its nostalgic feel, reminding viewers of the High School Musical movies. Disney Plus has a variety of things to watch, but I prefer action movies; something more exciting. If there’s no action I get bored and then don’t end up finishing the movie.
The 10 most watched movies on Disney Plus are Togo, Rogue One, Ralph Breaks the Internet, Guardians of the Galaxy, Newsies, Mary Poppins Return, Tron, and The Black Hole. Having seen three of these movies and loving them, I can assume the others are just as good.
After Disney Plus was created, millions of people signed up for it, willing to pay $6.99 a month to watch Disney movies and shows. While Disney is stereotypically a network for children to watch, Disney Plus is for everyone’s enjoyment.
