The Centennial boys’ soccer team honored their seniors on Thursday, September 30. 11 seniors were celebrated: Eddie Aguilar, Tasssen Forhad, Andrew Fritz, Cameron Grable, Martin Hilser, David Kayihura, Ethan McAllister, Sammy Molz, Mofe Omitowoju, Elijah Pressman, and Dustin Rubin.
“Walking across the field was a really special moment for me,” stated Fritz.
The Eagles battled the Glenelg Gladiators and tied 1-1; Adam Fowble scored the goal for the Eagles. Although the game ended up in double overtime and their first tie of the season, the seniors enjoyed the ceremony and their acknowledgment.
“We see each other everyday for 3 months straight and you really get to meet and learn new things about people… [some] of my best friendships have come from this program,” mentioned Molz.
Their season is quickly coming to an end so make sure to come out and support your Eagles! Their next game is Tuesday, October 19 at 6:45 p.m. They will be taking on Marriotts Ridge.
