The Tennessee Titans won their home opener against the Baltimore Ravens 26-13. The Titans were looking to pick up a win after a 16-14 close loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Titans offense, led by Quarterback (QB) Matt Hassleback and Runningback (RB) Chris Johnson, looked strong against a Ravens defense that held the Pittsburgh Steelers to seven points and 346 yards total offense. QB Hassleback threw for 358 yards and a touchdown. RB Chris Johnson had 24 rushes for 53 yards after only rushing for 24 yards on 9 rushes against the Jaguars in week one.

The Ravens defense could not handle the passing game against the Titans. Titans’ wide receivers gained 358 yards against the Ravens secondary. QB Hasselback escaped the Ravens pressure and didn’t get sacked for the duration of the game. The Ravens defense let the Titans’ offence extend their drives so they could get into field goal range.

The Ravens next game is on the road against the St. Louis Rams. The Ravens will go up against second year QB Sam Bradford. Bradford, who went 17-30 and threw for 180 yards in a 31-13 loss to the Eagles, has an index finger injury and will start against the Ravens. RB Steven Jackson also has a quad injury and is expected to play against the Ravens, so expect him to have a 90-100 yard game against a very weak Ravens rush defense.
