Howard County Public School System announced the high school
graduation dates and times earlier this month. This year, the
Centennial Seniors will walk the stage at Merriweather Post Pavilion
on Thursday, May 24 at 4pm. This is relatively early compared to
previous years (last year it was June 2), and it is actually a day
before the final day of school for seniors.

The announcement of the date has caused the rescheduling of several
senior events, including the Senior Breakfast, Awards Assembly, and
the Farewell Assembly. Now, exams for seniors will take place the two
weeks leading up to the senior activities. These new dates have
caused some conflicts with AP (advanced Placement) Exams.

Revised Senior Activity Dates:

May 15-22 Senior Final Exams

May 17 College T-shirt Day

May 18 Senior Class Night

May 21 Senior Picnic

May 22 Senior Breakfast and Superlative Recognition
Senior Awards Assembly

May 23 Farewell Assembly
Graduation Rehearsal

May 24 Graduation
