On Saturday, February 6, Centennial’s Jazz Band placed third at a national competition, Berklee High School Jazz Festival, in Boston, Massachusetts. The band, comprised of five saxophone players, five trumpet players, four trombone players, two drummers, a bass player, a pianist, and a guitarist, performed at the Hynes Convention Center.
The competition lasted 12 hours and was open to any band that signed up ahead of time.
