Boys’ Basketball Beats Reservoir in Second Round of Playoffs

On Tuesday, February 29, the Centennial Boys’ Basketball team started its playoff run. The team took on the reservoir Gators at home.

After overcoming a 3-point halftime deficit, the Eagles stormed back, emerging with a 57-53 victory.

Senior Tom Brown, was the offensive force for the Eagles, dropping a game high 20 points. Fellow senior Michael Merkey chipped in 13, capitalizing on many trips to the free throw line. Junior Elijah White and sophomore Jayden Williams each scored 8 points, senior EJ Fowler had 4 points, junior Alex Fant and sophomore Kaleb Addisu each scored 3 points, and sophomore Andrew Hohmann had 2.

The Eagles will play Wilde Lake at home on Wednesday, March 2.
