On Monday, October 10, 2016, the Centennial Girls’ Varsity Field Hockey team won 7-0 over the Hammond Golden Bears at Hammond.
The Eagles didn’t start off as strong as they would have wished. Scoring only two goals in the first half by juniors Lauren Muma and Camden Belvins, the Golden Bears were still in the game.
However, goals by seniors Olivia O’Connell and Maggie Sullivan, Muma, junior Julia Grable, and sophomore Marissa Lagara gave the Eagles their seventh win of the season.
The Centennial Field Hockey team will be playing the Marriotts Ridge Mustangs on Thursday, October 13.
