Cross Country Regionals

On Thursday, November 3, the 3A East Region Cross Country Championships were held at Centennial High School. The high schools that participated are Atholton, Centennial, Chesapeake, Glenelg, Hammond, James M Bennett, Long Reach, Mount Hebron, Northeast, Reservoir High, River Hill, Stephen Decatur, and Wilde Lake.  

There were only two races that evening, the Men’s three mile race and the Women’s three mile race.  

Centennial finished in fourth place in the Men’s division and second place in the Women’s Division.

For the Eagles in the Men’s race, senior Daniel Gao finished in fourteenth place and for the Eagles. In the Women’s race, senior Kara Taylor finished in fifth place, sophomore Alison Betler finished in sixth and sophomore Cora Blount finished in eighth place.

The Cross Country State Championships will be on November, 12, at Hereford High School.
