Centennial’s STEM Club

Words: Hibah Khan

The STEM club, also known as Science Olympiad, is co-sponsored by Mr. Piluk and Mrs. Rice and holds meetings every Thursday in Piluk’s room, 507. The co-presidents are Chy Murali and Nicole Meister.

The Science Olympiad represents Centennial by competing in multiple competitions every year relating to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) topics. The first competition this year will be in December, and state competitions will be in February.

The team will be training in pairs by taking practice tests. The STEM club welcomes people of all backgrounds and interests; however, if you have a strong engineering background, the STEM club is for you.
