Centennial students gathered in the stadium Friday afternoon for the annual pep rally. It was an energetic end to Spirit Week and kicked off this weekend’s Homecoming festivities.

The Marching Eagles and Color Guard started off the rally with a preview of their halftime show. The cheerleading squad followed with one of their routines and then cheered on as each of the fall sports teams ran across the field.

Each class had a team of 8 people who participated in a Tug-of-War tournament near the end of the rally. After beating the freshman team in the first round, the juniors defeated the seniors in the finals.

The junior and senior dance companies capped off the event with performances of their own.

Keeping Centennial tradition, each grade showed their class pride and wore a designated color throughout the day.
