Freshmen orientation was held on June 8, 2011. Current eighth graders who will be coming to Centennial in the fall attended an assembly in the auditorium, where they heard from different members of the CHS faculty and watched a slideshow of pictures taken throughout the 2010-2011 school year.
They were also given the opportunity to talk with student members of different clubs and organizations which they can join.
Later, current freshmen gave the visiting eighth graders tours of the school.
“It’s important that they can learn more about Centennial and what the school has to offer,” said freshman Sarah McKay.
