With the high tension of the evening the Centennial eagles open the game against the the Howard Lions with a two point disadvantage. But determined, our Centennial eagles began to quickly go back onto the offense with majors points coming from Omari Reingold, Ben Goldsmith, Timi Tomoye, and Keonte Potts. With some great ball handling, shots, and energy from the Centennial student body this varsity team was able to maintain a majority lead up until the fourth quarter, where the Lions stepped up their game and made it a 4 point game. But, the team and its fans never faltered. Together, the team was able to take a majority lead at the end of the night with a final score of 69-64, thus continuing their season. Now, Centennial counts down the hours to the next match against the Atholton Raiders this Thursday.
