Earlier this season, Centennial played at Wilde Lake and the game ended early due to rain after 3 innings. On Monday, May 7 the game continued with Centennial leading 3-2 in the 4th inning. By scoring multiple runs, the Eagles ended the game with a winning score of 14-3.
Centennial and Wilde Lake had another scheduled game against each other right after their makeup game. Centennial took the lead 3-0 by the 5th inning. Wilde Lake came back by the 6th inning causing a 3-3 tie. At this point in the game, both teams were hoping to score the final run to win the game. With Centennial at bat, senior Brenden Cutick made an important hit, allowing sophomore Zack Steen to run home resulting in a win for the Eagles.
