The Centennial Varsity Softball team honored one senior, Grace Bennett, at their senior night on Wednesday, May 1.
The softball team was defeated 10-3 by rival Mount Hebron High School. A seven-run second inning for Mount Hebron secured the victory for the Vikings, making the Eagles’ record now 9-7.
Centennial players Bennett and juniors Jordan Hinz and Ester Kim all had multiple hits in the game.
The softball team was scheduled to play their last home game on May 6 at 4:00pm; however, due to poor field conditions, it has been cancelled and will be rescheduled.
