On Monday, October 14, the Centennial Field Hockey team celebrated their seniors in one of their last regular season home games.
Juniors on the Varsity team made individual posters for their senior teammates. The seniors walked out in all red and princess crowns as they were announced from the press box.
Unfortunately, the girls were defeated by River Hill High School with a final score of 3-0.
Regardless of the score, Centennial played great offensively. The Eagles had possession for much of the game, creating many opportunities, but the girls struggled to finish.
“Despite our loss, the entire team fought until the end to support the seniors in one of their final games on the team,” said senior Sara Ferrara.
The Field Hockey team will host Glenelg High School in their final home game of the regular season tomorrow at 3:30pm.
