Centennial Baseball Plays on Senior Night

On Wednesday, May 12, the Centennial baseball team competed in their senior night for the class of 2021. It was an off night for Centennial, as they suffered an 11-3 loss.

The team honored seniors: Chris Betler, Drew Buckmaster, Curtis Gilliece, Conner Lashly, Jack Pistner, Charlie Schmitt, Conarie Steinbach, and Dylan Watson.

Pistner stated that the seniors “didn’t take any moment for granted knowing how far [they] have come and how hard [they] have worked.” With this season being in jeopardy, it was a proud moment for the seniors who were able to get their senior night after all. Centennial looks to compete for a county championship, as despite this loss, they’ve impressed many this season. “I feel very confident in our team going forward,” said Pistner. “We have a great gel of good kids and great players.
