End of the Boys’ Lacrosse Season: A Look Ahead

Centennial boys’ lacrosse finished their last regular season game on Tuesday, June 1. The team is set to play on Wednesday, June 9 in an away game against Westminster in their first playoff game.

The boys played their last game against Glenelg High School. With a close score throughout the game, Glenelg slipped ahead with a final score of 11-10. Contributing goals for the eagles were scored by Sam Bussink, Josh Flick, Andrew Hockersmith, and Jake Ritter. Senior goalie, Alex Kauffman made 16 saves.

This is only the third loss that the team faced throughout this season. Previous losses were against Glenelg in the first game of the season, and Mt. Hebron.

Despite this, the team stands towards the top of the county. They will compete in the 3A East Region I division as the 4th seed.
