On Thursday, November 4, the Centennial Volleyball team battled against Manchester Valley and won, taking the first three sets out of five. The team was in high spirits and the student section was loud and repping their red, white, and blue for the themed game. It was a great ending, especially since it was their last home game.

“Winning the game really gave us the confidence we needed and I think [it] will set the tone for our next game,” junior Emma Booth mentioned.

“ [as we approach Monday’s game] we want to stick to playing good defense and just control what we can control, and not worry about other factors that we have no control over,” said junior team captain, Brianna Bossom.

The Eagles will be competing against Howard High School on Monday, November 8 in the semifinals. The game will be at Howard at 5:30 p.m., and the tickets will be $6 each. Make sure to be loud and support the team!
