With Pop Concert coming early this year on October 14, 2015, Centennial’s choir groups are preparing for the big show. Centennial’s all-male A cappella group, the Acafellas, are tuning up for the quickly approaching concert.
On September 1, the Acafellas held their first meeting for the 2015-2016 school year. Senior Daniel Kelly started it off by giving a short introduction and a meet-and-greet with the returning and new members followed shortly after.
Just two months away from the show, choir director Mrs. Jessica Cummings presented a possible song choice to the group, titled “Sound Off” by Paul Rardin. Listening to the song had the guys singing and laughing because of the funny tune.
As a returning member of the club, sophomore Steven Mitchell said, “Joining Acafellas helped me get to know more people and meet with upperclassmen.”
