Starting pitcher Ben Goldsmith pitched six innings, giving up three earned runs. First basemen Garrett Kurtz went 2-4, with two doubles, outfielder Brandon Feurman went 2-4, with two doubles, and Derek Nadeau went 1-3, with a single and an RBI.

Long Reach Lightnings 0 @ Centennial Eagles 6

Starting pitcher Aerian Vedadi went seven innings, no earned runs, and almost threw a no hitter. Pitcher Aerian Vedadi also got three walks in the game and outfielder Jerry Burgow went 2-4, with two doubles.

Centennial Eagles 3 @ Reservoir Gators 5

Playing on back to back days, the Centennial Eagles struggled to put runs on the board. The Gators were looking to seek revenge from the Eagles after an opening day loss. Starting pitcher Garrett Kurtz struggled in five innings, giving up five earned runs. Pitcher Peter Baum came in for an inning of work giving up no earned runs. Seniors Aerian Vedadi went 2-3 with a double, a single, and a walk, and Garrett Kurtz and Jared Lacey went 1-4 with a double.

Starting pitcher Ben Goldsmith pitched seven innings and gave up one earned run. Goldsmith showed the reason why he is the ace of the pitching staff. The Centennial hitters provided enough runs to give Goldsmith another quality start.
