Centennial’s Band Department took the stage on Tuesday, October 12, for its annual Pop Concert. The Percussion Ensemble, Jazz Band, and Wind Ensemble performed a variety of songs with special solos from Michael Martinatis, Michael Delatte, and Ken Chen. Lisa Choi, a renowned flutist in the Wind Ensemble performed a solo, and the Wind Ensemble received a standing ovation.
On Wednesday, October 14, Centennial’s Choir Department performed for the vocal Pop Concert. Concert Choir, Women’s Choir, Madrigals, Acafellas, and C# sang a multitude of songs. Along with the different groups, students could also perform solos, duets, and play music on a guitar or piano.
