Centennial underclassmen are taking High School Assessments throughout the week of May 29, 2012. HSA’s are a requirement in the state of Maryland and passing grades are necessary to graduate from high school. Generally taken by sophomores, the exams are given in the subjects of Algebra, American Government, Biology, and English 10.
The media center and other classrooms with computers are closed to non-testing students. Additionally, periods one through three are extended by 10 minutes, and periods five and six are shortened.
