On December 12 from 12:00-8:00pm Centennial High School’s National History Honors Society has partnered with Ellicott City. Their presentation exhibit on the History of Christmas in the 19th century at the professionally decorative historic mansion of Mt. Ida for one day only!
Festivities will include a presentation of the recently discovered Christmas Diary from the 1840’s and a train set from the 1920’s. There will also be caroling and musical performances at Mt. Ida and a dramatic reading of a passage from A Christmas Carol on Main Street. Tickets will be sold for $7 and Mt. Ida historical mansion is located at 3691 Sarah’s Lane, Ellicott City.
