On Wednesday, January 13, 2016, 93 juniors and seniors were inducted into the National Honor Society. Students who have a cumulative weighted GPA of at least 3.4 could apply to the association. In addition, the applicants should have voluntarily participated in multiple community service events, and should be dependable and resourceful.
Ms. Elizabeth Chung, co-advisor to the National Honor Society, stated that the application process is complicated, as the National Honor Society “[looks] for academic commitment, community service involvement, and school involvement.”
Those who were accepted and inducted have the honor of being members of a respectable and prestigious organization.
