On Tuesday, October 4, 2016, the Centennial Boys’ Varsity Soccer team lost 3-1 to rival Mount Hebron at home.
Mount Hebron scored the first and only goal of the first half. Even though the Eagles were in a hole, they did not lose hope or intensity. Junior Nick Haskins dug the Eagles out when he had a follow up shot in which resulted in a goal. With both teams going back and forth fighting for victory, the Vikings ended up scoring shortly after the Eagles goal.
Mount Hebron unfortunately scored once more to seal the win. The Eagles’ next game is on October 6, 2016 at 5:30 at Wilde Lake High School.
