Neil Rabb, a senior at Centennial, participated in the annual Baltimore Marathon this past Saturday, October 15. Rabb ran to raise money for Haiti after it was hit by the devastating Hurricane Matthew earlier this month. The 26.2 mile marathon started at 8 AM and lasted till the last runner crossed the finish line in the afternoon.
Running a marathon is no easy feat, so Rabb trained by participating on Centennial’s cross-country team and trained on his own.
Rabb raised over $2500 from the support of his family and friends.
Rabb said, “Running the marathon was a fantastic experience. I hope that my run made a difference and helped people dealing with the recent hurricane in Haiti and am happy that I put as much effort into it as I did.”
