Centennial’s Salvation Army Club will soon hold its annual Fall Canned Food Drive, which will run from November 1 to November 30. All proceeds will go towards Salvation Army headquarters and the Elkridge Food Pantry, where club members regularly volunteer.
Cans will be collected during first period. Applied Research Laboratory students can leave their donations in the main office’s designated collection box.
All canned or boxed goods are accepted, with the exception of perishable or expired goods.
The two first period classes that collect the most cans or boxes will be rewarded with a breakfast party.
Salvation Army Club aims to obtain 1,600 cans from this year’s drive.
