Friday, October 29, was a great day for the Centennial Football program. The players persevered through a flood warning and won 28-24 against the Marriotts Ridge Mustangs. The Centennial student section participated in a “black out” and quickly rushed the field once the game ended. This was Centennial’s first home win in eight years.

Senior wide receiver Matthieu Jacob scored two touchdowns for the Eagles on Friday, one of them for 78 yards. “It was [a] much needed [win] for the program and it really lifted the team morale,” Jacob stated.

The Eagles will be playing against Baltimore City College High School on Friday, November 5 in their first playoff game.

Jacob added, “We have a lot of confidence moving forward and I think we have a good chance against City.”
