Tennis Senior Night

On Thursday, May 5, the tennis program recognized their seniors and topped off the night with a dub. The boys team recognized Hari Meka, Julian Whans, Charlie Lu, Danny Ho, Ryan Huang, Eric Huang. The Lady Eagles recognized Rose Huang.

Centennial High School won against Reservoir High School winning 4-1. On the Eagles took the win over Reservoir High School, Meka said, “Senior Night added more excitement to our match, and it took us across the line against Reservoir as we beat them for the second time this season.” Rose Huang offered a different opinion  stating , “No, it did not make me play better. It wasn’t a very tough match to begin with. It was a bittersweet moment.”

Meka added“Senior Night was a fun experience for me. It was great celebrating not only our tennis accomplishments, but our journey together as seniors on the team. I felt grateful during senior night that I was able to play with such talented teammates and be led by a coach, Mrs. Parisi, who is experienced and decorated in success throughout her years coaching Centennial Tennis,.”

When asked how she felt about it being her last season, Rose Huang admitted, “[I’m] a tad bit sad since this is my last year, but it is what it is. I was also more familiar and confident with everything as well.” Both of these students are exceptional players and will be missed at Centennial High School.
