Centennial’s Final Day of Spirit Week

Words: Maggie Ju

Centennial held its traditional pep rally on Friday, October 13, along with Color Day.  Students dressed in their class colors of black, blue, white, and red. They filled the bleachers in a sea of color.  With banners, each sports team ran across the field towards the cheering spectators. Performers included the Star Wars-themed marching band, cheerleaders, and two dance companies. Representatives from each grade participated in tug-of-war, the seniors emerging victorious over all classes.  The pep rally, which preceded the homecoming carnival, marked the start of the Homecoming festivities over the weekend.
