On Thursday, April 20, 2023, Ms. Jessica Landi, who has been a history teacher at Centennial since 2014, was announced the Senior Class of 2023 Teacher of the Year.

After the original nomination round, the decision for this year came down to three candidates: Landi, Mr. John Sharbaugh, and Mr. Jeremy Whitaker. The final vote was made by members of the senior class.

“I feel very honored and grateful to be recognized,” Landi said. “Much love to the Class of 2023.”

As Teacher of the Year, Landi is expected to give the keynote speech at graduation, which will take place on Wednesday, May 24.
