The purpose of the Pre-Medicine Club, according to its Co-President Deanna Yi, is to “create a nurturing environment where students are able to learn about the field of medicine, volunteer in the community, and engage in activities that aid in starting their pathway to a medical career.”
Coming up in November, the Pre-Medicine Club is holding its annual Medical Seminar open to anyone in Howard County who wishes to learn about current research, innovations, and the experiences of various qualified speakers.
Meetings take place every Wednesday in Room 409. The entire board of the Pre-Medicine Club, including Daniel Hemani, Mallika Kadabha, Christopher Chen, Jocelyn Mathew, Reem Hashmi, and Co-Presidents Deanna Yi and Supraja Kanipakam, are so excited for the year ahead and invite everybody to drop by their meetings and check them out.
