Boys’‌ ‌Basketball‌ ‌Secures‌ ‌Win‌ ‌Against‌ ‌Rivals‌ ‌on‌ ‌Senior‌ ‌Night‌ ‌ ‌

On Wednesday, February 2, the boys’ basketball team battled their rivals, Mount Hebron High School, and celebrated their five seniors. The gym was filled with families, friends, and loved ones along with fellow students that were able to find a ticket to enter the game.

“Walking beside my family was a great moment but the highlight was being able to [play] in front of an actual crowd,” said James Maclellan.

The team recognized Seun Adebanjo, Cameron Grable, Minuk Hwang, David Kayihura, and James Maclellan.

“I couldn’t believe it was actually happening…I didn’t expect us to have a senior game because of COVID,” Hwang added.

The Eagles won by 15 points, with a score of 59-44.

“We outplayed Hebron…as the team we did what we needed to do and won the game,” Grable mentioned.

The next home game will be Monday, February 7, so make sure to come out and support your fellow Eagles!
