Tuesday, October 6 is the second day of Centennial’s Spirit Week and also Maryland Day. Maryland attire such as hats, shirts, pants, and other Maryland colors and decals were worn by students and teachers alike to show state pride.
Maryland Day in a way ties together the school in a special way, as most people wear the same or similar clothes. “It [Maryland Day] shows how even though we are all different, we are all still proud to be in Maryland,” says Andrew Valienski, a senior at Centennial.
As the second day of Spirit Week wraps up, students begin to prepare for Twin Day which is on Wednesday, October 7.
